Two ways to hire a tradesperson
🛠️ A repair or small job: a request
Describe the problem (at least 8 words), add up to 2 photos and confirm you will pay the technician's callout fee (2,000 to 5,000 FCFA depending on the trade). The request goes to the verified technicians of that trade in your city; you are notified as soon as one of them accepts it, and you contact them by phone or WhatsApp. Want someone to keep an eye on it? In supervised mode, a JeFala1Tech supervisor follows the job and you receive a PDF report.
🏗️ Building or renovating: a project
A JeFala1Tech site manager comes to assess the work (expert visit), then gives you a detailed quote per trade, labour and materials, which you accept with your PIN code. They choose and coordinate the tradespeople, you pay in whenever you like (Mobile Money, deposit or bank transfer) and JeFala1Tech pays the tradespeople. You follow progress with photos in the app, right up to the handover report.

What is the difference between a tradesperson and a technician?
On JeFala1Tech both words mean the professionals who do your work: repair technicians (plumber, electrician, AC technician, locksmith…) and building tradespeople (mason, tiler, carpenter, painter, waterproofer…). All go through the same checks: ID card, photos of their work and review by our team.
How are tradespeople and technicians verified?
Every professional completes their profile, sends their ID card, adds 3 photos of their work and accepts our confidentiality commitments, then our team checks their file. A "Verified" badge then appears on their profile, alongside their clients' reviews.
How much does JeFala1Tech cost?
The app is free for clients. For a request, you pay the technician their callout fee (2,000 to 5,000 FCFA depending on the trade) and then the work. For a building project, you pay the expert visit and then the amounts of the accepted quote, in instalments of your choice.
